Codified under the Orphan Drug Act of 1983, a disease is considered “rare” if it affects fewer than 200,000 people in the United States.
Over 10,000 rare diseases collectively impact over 30 million people in the U.S.

PANTHERx is licensed in all 50 states and was the first national pharmacy to achieve dual accreditations in rare disease from the Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) and Utilization Review Accreditation Commission (URAC).
